Start Waves and Times

There are 24 start waves each event day. Find out more about your start wave

Start Wave Time

Every participant is given a start wave time and name.

If you completed the event registration form before 24th July you will have been emailed your start wave in the first week of August. If you completed the event form on or after 24th July you will receive your start wave at the end of August.

You must start in your start wave. We aren’t able to facilitate moving you to a different start wave.

What Happens in the Start Wave

Your start wave is the time you will start your challenge, which begins with the tower run. We recommend you arrive at the event approximately 40 minutes before your start wave so you have enough time to register and drop off your bag.

There will be about 20 people taking part in each start wave. The wave will include participants taking part in both the Tower Run & Abseil and Tower Run & Zipwire challenge.

Everyone in the same start wave will enter the  outside start pen on the ground level of the Cheesegrater. You will start your tower run one at a time, approximately every 45 seconds, and will be directed when to start by our friendly crew.
