Who are Tommys?
Tommy’s own and organise the Skyscraper Challenge. We are a national charity that exist to save babies’ lives.
1 in 4 women will lose a baby during pregnancy or birth and Tommy’s believe every baby lost is one too many.
Tommy’s works tirelessly to reduce the UK’s unacceptable rates of miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth. We fund pioneering medical research to discover the causes of baby loss and help women and pregnant people at every stage of their pregnancy journeys with expert information and care.
Tommy’s wants to make pregnancy safer for all and ensure that excellent maternity care is available for every family, every baby, everywhere.
What does Tommy's do?
Tommy’s mission is to make the UK the safest place to give birth, halving the number of babies who die in pregnancy and birth by 2030.
Tommy’s:
- raise awareness of miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth
- drive world-leading research into pregnancy and baby loss
- run specialist clinics across the UK so families can access the treatment they need
- support and empower parents during their pregnancy journey
- improve maternity and miscarriage care in the UK
